Her survival skills are tested when she becomes the obsession of her kidnapper, Master. After months of captivity, she escapes her kidnapper only to be submerged in Alaskan winter storms in a desolate area. Our hero suffers from PTSD after being captured and tortured by enemy forces. Ultimately, this is a great love story for two people who have overcome being tormented captives. Their love and the character development of the heroine and hero sell this story. They are a testament of the human spirit and an example of the healing powers of true acceptance, love. However, Master is determined to regain possession of his Eve and he stalks his prey relentlessly. The reader roots for h/H while recognizing that sometimes love is more satisfying with thrills. Though the Epilogue was too disjointed for my taste, I do recommend this thriller romance.Product details
